Come home
to yourself.

For people who have done the thinking, searching and trying—and still feel that something deeper has not quite shifted. We begin with the body, then work outward toward clarity, self-trust and a life that feels more like your own.

Maybe this feels familiar

You understand so much.
Why do you still feel stuck?

Sometimes insight gives us a map without changing the terrain.

You can understand a pattern intellectually and still notice your body bracing, shutting down, speeding up or reaching for what is familiar. Somatic work adds another layer of information: the sensations, impulses and internal cues that are easy to miss when we live mostly from the neck up.

This work is not about forcing calm or becoming perfectly regulated. It is about becoming more able to notice what is happening inside you, respond with greater choice, and build a life around what actually feels true.

The approach

From the body,
outward.

A bottom-up approach gives bodily experience a seat at the table. Rather than beginning only with thoughts and goals, we also notice sensation, breath, posture, tension, energy, emotion and impulse—then connect those signals with meaning, choice and action.

Build awareness of internal sensations and patterns through interoceptive and somatic attention. We might notice breath, posture, tension, temperature, energy, impulses or the felt sense of a boundary—without forcing an experience to change.

Recognise emotions as whole-body experiences and create more room around how you meet them. The focus is not suppressing emotion, but building awareness, language and choice around what is present.

Explore beliefs, stories, expectations and protective patterns with the added context of what your body and emotions are communicating. Insight becomes more useful when it is connected to lived experience.

Reconnect with values, intuition, meaning, purpose and the parts of life that help you feel deeply oriented. Spirituality is approached as a personal source of meaning—not a prescription for what you should believe.

Grounded, not grandiose

Somatics is not magic. It is another way of paying attention.

Interoception—the sensing and interpretation of signals from inside the body—is closely connected with emotional experience and regulation. Research on body-oriented and mindfulness-based approaches is promising, while evidence for specific somatic therapies is still developing. My coaching uses body awareness as a reflective and integrative tool; it does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions.

A small experience

notice this.

When you imagine making the change you know you want, what happens in your body first?

There is no right answer. The noticing itself is the practice.

Work with me

Deep work.
Gentle pacing.

Our work is collaborative and personalised. We can move between somatic awareness, emotional processing, reflection, practical restructuring and deeper questions of identity, meaning and direction.

Meet Donaë

I know what it is to search for an answer that never quite reaches the root.

My own path through healing taught me that insight matters—but so does the body, the emotional world, the way we organise our relationships, the meaning we make, and the life we build around ourselves.

I created this work for people who want more than another layer of self-analysis. People who want to understand themselves deeply enough to live differently.
